Tony has Provisionally boom the pool at Lamorna.
White water boats and sea boats
3/4 boats in the pool at a time then swap over.
If interested as either a coach or participant please comment below
booking is for 1.5 hours so pool will cost £75 (to the club). ideally if we can get 5 Boats
@£15 each and some coaches that would be fantastic

I would be keen to join as both participant in a sea kayak, but also happy to coach when not a participant...
if we can do pay on the day that would be great
Rich, would you be able to help Ceri Out?
I'd like to set up a WhatsApp group specifically for pool training, we will still put up on the Forum but it will make sorting the arrangements and future events easier. Could you text me your mobile numbers to 07767565357 and I will put you on.
If we set up the group the following arrangements can be agreed.
We have a good number so plenty of sharing boats required, who's taking boats .
Do we have a risk assessment for pool training, if so could you let me have it please.
Can I have confirmation of who will be the 'lead qualified' coach for the session.
I will be collecting one or two WW boats to bring through, and have three available seats.
We pay on the day, any excess will go back to the club for subsequent training sessions if numbers fall, (if you all agree)
There is a possibility of a larger pool in Exmouth I'm waiting for costs and availability, this may be something the group would like to look into for next year.
@CeriJohnson can you let Rich know?
I am sorry but I have pulled my neck which isn't recovering quickly, so I am going to drop out
Remember boats need to be properly clean for a pool. No sand! That often needs more than a quick rinse. No shoes poolside. I will try to bring a couple of mats to protect the pool edge when we put boats in and out. I will also bring (one) paddle float. More might be useful if anyone has/knows where to find. Goggles/snorkeling mask recommended - why fight the chlorine... Or bring a nose clip. Some people don't use much kit, others prefer to make it feel more realistic with buoyancy aids etc. Take your pick. Be aware rolls needs good boat contact so bring a boat that fits. I've never been to this pool, so don't know anything about parking or which doors. I guess we'll figure it out.
If wearing a ba, please thoroughly rinse it afterwards.
Few points for Sunday,
Getting the pool has not been straight forward, it is a private pool and does not have someone fulltime to coordinate with, I have been communicating through text as the only route that works.
It is a small pool so I suggest numbers are restricted, the short boats would give opportunity for more numbers.
I reinforce Maggie's comment regarding cleaning all equipment thoroughly before entering.
At the moment this is the only pool available.
Have a good time.
May sound daft, don't forget spray decks and paddles! Nose clips and goggles are a good idea.
Plan is 15-20 minute slots, you'll probably be tiring by then. Then swap over.
Please do let the coaches know what you are wanting out of the session so we know what to try and coach you!
Apologies for lack of details before now, but have a lot going on at present.
Many thanks ks to Rich and Maggie for your coaching
