Paddles For Sale

Many of you will know I have been diagnosed as having Parkinsons. Sadly, this means that I am increasingly uncomfortable sitting in a canoe or a kayak so I have realised that, after 58 years of thoroughly enjoying my paddling, the time has come where I need to stop.

This means that all my extensive collection of boats and associated kit needs to find new homes where it can be enjoyed so, here goes with a series of adverts. I am advertising to ECC members first, in the hope that I can encourage some of you to progress in the sport I love! However, I will soon advertise more widely.

Moll Contra 144 cm, this is a basic paddle I used as a spare and for coaching beginners. It has bright decals on one side, ideal for signaling and for differentiating between the front and back of the blade. £40

Werner Nantahala 145.5 cm, this is my go to white water paddle in used but good condition with plenty of life left in it. £75 Sold

Grey Owl 160cm Ottertail wooden paddle, this is a lovely deep water paddle in good used condition. £75 Sold

Grey Owl 142cm bent shaft deep water paddle, this is a powerful deep water paddle, the bent shaft allows the blade to stay nearer to vertical for more of the strove thus supplying optimum power. In excellent condition £90

Slalom Victor 212.5 cm left handed 90 degree white water paddle, this was one of the most sought after paddles of the mid 1970's and has been well used but still has life in it. £20
Lettmann Carbon Speed 214cm right handed 60 degree one piece very light and strong sea/touring paddle from circa 1985 used but good condition. £40
