Saturday 26 April sea kayak trip for coastal SK award group UPDATED * 2

Sea kayak trip for the club's more advanced paddlers. Sea kayak award is the minimum requirement for this trip, plus a wish to try some more experienced paddling eg faster water, adventurous rock hopping etc.

Meet club at 8.15am or Combe Martin at 10am or just after. Plan is to go West and back with the tide. Likely to be rockhopping. Lowish wind, but quite a bit of swell: at 0.5m at 13s from the West. I am not going to the club in the morning.

    Can I sign up as a provisional first reserve please. If Maggie is able to clear her Saturday I will respect the rule of 6 and step back. I still need to work out my logistics for the week so please keep me as a provisional please.

    Trolleys are useful.

    Also if anyone is going to the club and has a key to the neoprene spray decks please can you bring one for Martin. I didn't have the right key with me. I have taken a canvas spraydeck for Martin.

    I have a spare neoprene spraydeck that I can put in, but I might be a bit fatter than Martin! If somebody at the Club gets one, all the better
