The night paddle on 2 November went well, and the tides and weather forecast for 16 November are similar so we can do another trip if people wish. Tides and sunset are a bit earlier so we will set off earlier.
Arrive at Exmouth 2.45pm and set off c 3.30pm. Sunset at Exmouth c 4.30pm. Arrive Topsham c 5.15 pm and I will book a table at the Lighter Inn for 5.30pm. We will then return in the dark to Exmouth.
Car park at Imperial Recreation Ground, EX8 1DG as there are spaces next to the slipway.
We will use charts on the trip and if you haven’t seen them before do come to the chart evening on Wed 13 November where we can look at the charts for the Exe estuary.
Before attending this trip you must be regularly paddling in the dark on the canal.
Your lights on this trip must conform to the Maritime Collision Regulations. The requirements for kayaks are white lights both fore and aft. Wear warm clothes.
Adults only. We need good weather for this trip.
**Weather all looking good. Problem may be traffic at the club. Baa and I are going to load boats on Friday evening at 7.30pm. I can take one more boat. I won't be going near the club on Sat afternoon. To share transport drivers can meet in the car park of Darts Farm (on the side of the car park nearest Topsham village), at 2.25pm, and then we will put the spare cars at Owen's house so we take fewer cars to Exmouth.
Maximum 6 people, Minimum 4 people.

Yes please.
Sorry just checked and I am double booked so cannot come. Sorry.😞
I'd like to join you if there is space please. Have night paddled but not on the Exe estuary.
Thanks everyone for a great day…..especially thanks for helping me get on the sea in the afternoon.
bump re Update on transport
I am going direct, so see you at the slipway.
Dave, see the OP
Update noted. I'll head to Dart's Farm. I won't take van due to height restriction but could carry one more boat on car from Dart's, or cadge a lift.
Thanks all - another lovely paddle.
