Just wondering if anyone might be able to transport a boat for me please (I can drive me there but can't take the kayak) - very happy to contribute to petrol and parking and provide thank you cake etc!

Do you know Mike if the yellow avocet may be fixed in time? I hear it has gone for repairs? lf not I may need to come back off holiday early to try out boats? Maybe someone could let me know ☺️ thank you
I've confirmed our booking at the campsite, and received this in the reply:
Just also to say that I have a shop / reception at the site, which is wooden building you'll see as you arrive . We sell bacon, sausage and burgers from our local butchers and I will be putting an order in for the Friday , do you think any of your guys would be interested? They have sliced bread, and milk.
I have now had it confirmed that we can use a firepit provided we burn charcoal, but not wood. Presumably if others have a barbecue then we can use that as well.
Martin - whenever works for you is good with me - equally though if me travelling independently or someone else who has offered to take a boat is more convenient for you that's not a problem at all. Really appreciate everyone's kindness
I’ve taken the yellow composite Avecot home and done the repair to the cracked skeg box this evening. This will now be good to use at Falmouth and beyond. I have also picked up the yellow Scorpio LV for Lucy which I’ll be taking down to Falmouth along with the Avocet. I can also collect the pink kayak for Catherine on Friday evening if required and take this down with me. Let me know. Cheers
I'll aim to collect a boat from the club on Thursday night or failing that 5-5:30 on Friday. I'll be travelling from the Okehampton area on Saturday and can arrive for afternoon paddling if lunch for any trips happens to be by an accessible launch site, but otherwise will arrive at the campsite late afternoon/evening. Happy to collect a boat and/or person if those plans work out for anyone? Will bring a disposable BBQ also that people are welcome to use.
