Good Friday 29 March sea kayak trip in Dorset CANCELLED see below

I will be in Dorset and can offer a sea kayak trip on Good Friday 29 March. If the weather is suitable this trip will aim to paddle at Swanage so we can paddle at the tide race at Peveril Point. Peveril Point is an ideal spot for trying out a smallish tide race with a very convenient eddy for recovery / watching.

Paddlers on this trip need to arrange their own transport.

Update
The weather forecast is such that I can't see that this trip is viable. The wind is too strong. I don't see any point in people driving that far to end up hiding in Poole Harbour. I would need to load up my SK on Tuesday evening to set off on Wednesday morning, so we need to make a decision by 5pm Tuesday. Are people ok that we cancel the trip?

    I cancelled a paddle last Saturday for bad weather, which was not quite as bad as what is predicted for this Friday. The weather this Friday is much worse, reaching gale force, so definitely the right call to cancel. I would love to do this paddle another time though if you ever arrange it again.

    Cancelling is fine by me- as Darren said, I’d be really keen to try this trip (or another tide race trip) another time
