Using the Lomo solid foam kayak paddle float
At the weekend the sea kayakers tried to use the Lomo solid foam paddle float and it didn't work because it slid along the paddle and would not stay at the end. I have tried to find out if this is a general problem, and found this link, so we are not alone.
The problem is that the sleeve is open ended, and not a pocket, as the other paddle floats are. Would some other sea kayakers try it out and see if they agree / work out how we can use it.

Jane, I'll take a look at the club later but maybe there's a way to close off one end? Stitch it up somehow?
