Sat 15 Feb women's paddle ND CANX
UPDATE 2. cancelled due to weather. Actually, probably morphing into an hour or so in short boats in the soup at Westward Ho, but I can't offer that as a club trip yet anyway. Another time! Winter is surely nearly done.

Weather on Saturday is looking unpromising, with worse either side. We'll see.
ORIGINAL
I am offering to lead up to 4 Exeter CC women paddlers on a joint Bideford Canoe Club women-only paddle on the North Devon coast on 15 Feb.
Obviously, this is weather dependent. If fortune favours, it's likely to go west late morning from Hele with the ebb, returning on the flood. If the weather kicks off, it would probably be Combe Martin again. Last resort, the Tiverton canal!!
If there's interest, ie people are prepared to do the journey, I will endeavour to run a similar 'mixed group' trip another time. So feel welcome to stick your paddle up, whatever your gender.
Paddlers on 15th, or a later trip, should be at or approaching sea kayak award level as a minimum. Ie, you should have done Jane's sea kayak award skills course last summer and have been on several paddles since. If you're not sure, drop me a line and we can discuss.

I would have loved to come but I currently have back issues so it is extremely unlikely. Sorry.
