Sun 8 Dec sea kayak trip CANCELLED too windy

There will be a sea kayak trip on Sunday 8 December, provided the weather is friendly.

If practical I would like to include some sea kayak award final steps for people who are at the standard and just need to demonstrate it. This is mainly to show that you are comfortable paddling in sea kayak award conditions, of F3 winds and 1 knot of tide. Rescues need to be performed in these conditions. If you would like to be assessed for your SK award please can you say in the replies.

Other paddlers will be welcome provided they can paddle at least at SK award standard, and are willing to take p[art eg by being rescue casualties.

If the people who are interested are for the SK award, this paddle may be a morning only paddle. As of Tuesday it is looking to be too windy.
