Sat 7 women's North Devon paddle: expression of interest

Weather, sign ups and other things dependent, I will run a joint sea paddle with Bideford Canoe Club on Saturday 7 Dec.

This will be an all women group.

Relative beginners particularly welcome, but not first time on the sea paddlers this time please.

Build your network, confidence and knowledge of a part of Devon ECC doesn't often paddle (location probably North Devon).

You'll need to make your own kit and transport arrangements.

Post of you're interested in this or similar future opportunities. This is a super-friendly and supportive group of women who paddle all year. Some future trips will be on the South coast.

Gents: looking forward to paddling with you all another time!

  • Would love to join! But away next weekend, hope to come another time ๐Ÿ‘
  • Good to hear Evelyn, even though you can't make this one!
  • Sadly I have other commitments but would be interested in the future. Thanks.

  • ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ another time!
  • Iโ€™d love to - this time and/or in the future - but I donโ€™t (yet) have the facility to transport a boat.
  • Looking forward to seeing you again soon Baa. I'm not sure we'll have enough to make this one float, but I'll look for more opportunities if it doesn't. I don't live near Exeter, so can't generally help with transport. I like the 'yet' bit though. Sometimes having the car is more important than having a boat!
  • I would very much like to be a part of this group. Sadly I wouldn't be able to make this weekend either.
  • Ok, I think we're gathering at least expressions of interest!
  • Thanks Maggie - Iโ€™m very interested in joining this group.
  • Great, see you soon Ceri.

The weather is looking unhelpful again on Saturday anyway, so we'll look for another opportunity.

If anyone else is keen to join a women's group do get in touch. It's a slightly different vibe and it's fun. If course, you'll want to be joining the general paddles too.
