Sunday 15th September trip for experienced paddlers UPDATED
Priority for people who would have gone to Pembrokeshire had Jane not hurt her knee. Max 5 including me. Coastal award holders, longstanding paddlers at that level, or those working towards it and nearly there. Location tba depending on weather.
UPDATE: at present the relatively light winds and low swell, plus favourable tides, make Salcombe north sands to Hope Cove return look like a viable option for this group.
However, it is a minimum 2x10km paddle with few bug out options. It's further, and longer if we take advantage of the great rock hopping.
Meet North Sands car park for 10:45 OTW. (I'll aim to get there 10am). Expecting to be at HC approx 13:00 to 13:30, back OTW by 14:30 latest. Could be earlier if people are ready. Allow 2hrs return, plus any contingency you might need in your day.
