Dear all,
The Tamar Hasler on Sun 17 Aug 14 is the last race in the SW region series; race notice attached.
Exeter Canoe Club was leading the points table by a small margin until the recent Bradford on Avon Hasler when we were overtaken by Fowey River Canoe Club.
If we can get enough people to take part in the Tamar race there is an outside chance that we could pip them at the post and win the SW region trophy.
Can I therefore encourage you to take part to help us take the trophy which we instituted 3 years ago but have not yet managed to win! Entries are open to K boats, sea kayaks and surf skis, so grab a boat and come and paddle.
Please send your entries to me at exetercanoeclub@hotmail.com by Wed 13 Aug 14 with the following info:
•Name
•Div (if known)
•BCU number with expiry date (if a member)
•Boat (own or which club boat you would like to paddle)
