Sunday 28 July Sea kayak award training and continuous assessment day

This day will provide an opportunity for paddlers working towards the sea kayak award to practise their skills on the sea. If skills are achieved they can be recorded as part of the continuous assessment.

Priority is given to those paddlers who were not able to obtain a place on the Sea kayak award basic skills course.

Paddlers need to sort out the transport for themselves and their kayaks.

Paddlers will be expected to bring information on the tides and weather conditions applicable to the day.

Meet 8am at the club or 9am at Meadfoot Beach. Park along the road near the bandstand. We launch down the steps. We don't use the car park as the slipway from the car park is broken and unusable.

Max 8 places

Yes please if this is the right trip for me. It says I need to transport my own kayak, if that is the case I won’t be able to come. So let me know ☺️
  • You just need to arrange transport, which could mean finding someone else on the trip who can transport it.

  • Okay thanks Tom! Please can I come, I will just need someone to help me take my boat please
  • Can you sign Rob and Sabine up please
  • Me and Elliot would like to join
  • Please allocate a space for me, thank you.
I will have transport and space for an additional boat and passenger, (Evelyn) if needed.
  • I'd like to come if there's a spot left. Thank you Dave
  • Hi Jane I won't be able to make Sunday anymore. But Elliot can still make it
