Sea Kayak Explorers Trip - Monday 6th Exmouth to Budleigh/Ladram Bay

The best conditions over the weekend currently look to be on the bank holiday Monday. As ever the weather can be changeable but the winds look light and the swell minimal. An easy paddle launching from the beach in Exmouth. Not suitable for beginners but should be suitable for improver paddlers. Let’s aim to meet close to the seafront carpark next to the lifeboat station at 9.30. Back on Exmouth beach for 3.00pm We will aim to stop for lunch at either Budleigh or Ladram bay. This will depend on the final weather conditions and speed of the Group. Please bring all your normal sea kayaking paddle gear. If you need to pick up and transport boats from the club please coordinate via the chat below. I will head straight to Exmouth Beach.

    All looks good for for Monday morning. We look to have some sunshine in the morning. There is some risk of light rain in the afternoon but less than 30% so hopefully pleasant conditions all day. I will aim to be on the beach for 9.15 so that we can have a prompt launch. The plan is still out and back and stop for lunch. It will be a gentle pace recognising that some people might not have been on the water for some time.

    Tom, in owens message above, he is aim 0915hrs on beach for a prompt start so I will be aim to be at clubhouse about 0820hrd,, I’ll stay until we are all loaded. See you in the morning.
