Free Winter Evening Kayaking Presentations - AS Watersports - Winter Warmers
For those new to paddling, during the winter months, AS WAtersports have a monthly presentation / social event at their shop at the Quay, where somebody gives a talk on their paddling adventures. These are excellent events and they are free! (Although you can make a donation to the presenter's chosen charity if you wish). The season kicks off on Thursday 24th November, when Roy Beal will be giving a talk on his paddle from John O Groats to Lands End. See you there... https://www.aswatersports.co.uk/go/winter-warmers/

The next Winter Warmer is on Thursday 26th January. It makes rowing sounds interesting! I look forward to it!
... Just a reminder that the next talk at AS Watersports on Thursday evening (26 January). You don't need to book - just turn up a few minutes early for a cup of tea / coffee and a chat. Entry is free, but you might want to make a donation at the end of the evening to the charity selected by those giving the talk.
A date for the calendar - 7pm on 2nd March - many of you will know Liam from AS Watersports - his enthusiasm is electric, whether he is working in the shop or charging down white water rivers! I have been on a few trips with him including a trip to Nepal. I am looking forward to him talking about his adventures.... ![]
Just a reminder that Liam will giving the talk about his adventures this coming Thursday (2nd March) - I am looking forward to it!
The next talk is a bit different as it is a bit broader than kayaking. Those who have been to previous presentations will know how good they are, so save the date of 23 March.

Another excellent presentation this evening. Hopefully, everyone who has been along to this season's Winter Warmers found them as interesting as I did. That was the last one this winter and as usual, they were excellent social events with like minded people covering a variety of watersports and adventurous trips. I hope that lots of money has been raised for charity and people were inspired!
