Thursday 28 July Double Locks
Good afternoon
Tomorrow (Thursday) the Canal team will be dismantling the remaining steel sections of the Double Locks old landing stage / boat lift.
This will involve draining the lock in the morning to facilitate access to the lower sections.
These will be cut using gas cutting equipment and hoisted / removed using a telehandler
We anticipate the work will be completed later in the afternoon
