There will be a sea kayak trip on the south coast of Devon each weekend in August. Saturday or Sunday, depending upon when people are available and, as always, subject to the anticipated conditions a few days beforehand. At the time of posting, it is too soon to know the anticipated conditions for 7 and 8 August but I am available on either Saturday or Sunday, not both....
I will post midweek before each weekend but please do indicate here when you are available and keen to paddle.
Numbers are initially limited to 6 paddlers each day but this will increase if other leaders commit to joining us.
All trips will be suitable for those who have completed at least one club course in sea kayaks, unless the anticipated conditions dictate otherwise in the week beforehand. When I post a trip, I will indicate the experience level required to join in. All trips will include some coaching for those seeking it and can involve getting wet towards the end, although this won't be compulsory!
As always, the emphasis will be on enjoying ourselves while providing the opportunity to develop skills.
There is information on what to bring here:

We will aim to commence festivities relatively early as we will be looking to park in some popular places and we are in the height of the holiday season. All trips will be for a full day out so plan to be at the start for 9am and finish around 4pm. Of course, kayak collection and return will be outside these times.
The club does not arrange sharing of transport but, subject to Covid considerations, you are encouraged to minimise car use by arranging sharing amongst yourselves and most drivers with roof rack space will take one or two kayaks in addition to their own. I have space on my roof for my own and two more kayaks. Paddlers are welcome in my car if they are "double jabbed", otherwise they will need their own cars.
Any questions? Ask here or on the post for the trip you are interested in.

Brian, I am interested.
Sadly, the weather forecast doesn't lend itself to a sea trip this weekend and tides don't make an estuary trip attractive! So, sorry but there won't be a trip this weekend (7/8 August) Better luck next weekend, I hope!
Hi Brian. I am free to come along and/or assist on Saturday this coming weekend. Tied up on Sunday.
I'd like to paddle this weekend
