Saunton Surfing on Sunday 4 May
I am planning on going up to Saunton Sands for a few hours of surf kayaking on Sunday, and planning to get there at about 10.30 am.
The surf forecast is 3-4 foot, which is ideal for beginners or those planning to practice surfing.
I plan to take the kayak that I am buying from Nick to try it out, but will also load my sea kayak as they are good fun in the surf (you can catch waves further out with a sea kayak) and if sea kayaking, you arer more likely to need to land in surf.
Car parking is £5 all day.
Anyone who would like to join me, please just turn up. As I will be travelling direct from Okehampton, I will not be going to the Club first. A set of wheels is an advantage on Saunton Beach if you are using a sea kayak as the water can be a long way out.

Despite magic seaweeeds 3/4 prediction the eyeball live cam is showing it to be pretty much flat this morning. It is predicted to be bigger tomorrow so might go then instead.
