Sunday 12 October sea kayak paddle updated

Weather is looking quite mild for the weekend, with wind up to F3/4 and small swell. I'll lead a SK trip. If interested please reply to this thread:

Port Quin for 9.45am. Port Quin doesn't have any public loos, but there are some on the main road as you drive through Delabole.

Christina We can meet at Sourton Cross at 8.35am. Go South on the A386 and take the first left, go through the hamlet and there is free parking along the road.

  • I’d like to come!
  • I’m interested. I might pick up a boat from the club on Sat late afternoon.
  • Subject to where you paddle I might join you. I am in Cornwall after a week at SKC and was planning to drive home Sunday morning. I have two boats on my roof. As such I have a spare Skorpio MV which someone can borrow.

I’d like to go but have something else pre booked.
  • Port Quin sounds good! I won’t be travelling back to Exeter afterwards so will make my own way there.
  • Great plan Jane. Count me in. Just looked at the forecast and the conditions are ideal for a trip to Port Issac or Port Gaverne with lots of cave exploring on route. Any wind from the east which might kick in will help us home. Its my birthday tomorrow so happy to host afternoon tea back at my place in Polzeath. Will buy a cake in anticipation. Owen
  • Happy birthday Owen!
A last minute change of plan means I hope to join you all. Jane says there's a 4 missing in the time - 09:45
  • Can you confirm the meeting time at Port Quin?
  • 9.45am, sorry for typo.

  • Happy Birthday Owen!!!
