Good Friday 18 April Litter pick, sea kayak boat checking, taster session

11am Litter pick on the canal. Plan is to use short kayaks.

2pm sea kayak checking ready for the summer season
Taster session for recreational boats
Opportunity to try out recreational boats, in readiness for the summer season.

I hope paddlers can come and help with the day, particularly if you use the club sea kayaks.

    Thank you to everyone who helped yesterday in some very wet weather.
    The overhanging branches on the canal were cut back and the vegetation removed.
    Several people tried out club boats on the taster sessions.
    All the sea kayaks on the outside racks were checked and most were washed.
    Thanks to Dave, Mike, Nigel, Sam, Alex, Evelyn, Jacqui and Jane.
