26/28 August Bank Holiday Sea kayak weekend Falmouth UPDATED

There will be a sea kayak weekend in Falmouth. There will be various trips offered each day, according to the weather conditions and what people want to do. To come on this trip you need to be at Explore standard or above, and to be able to paddle a minimum of 8 miles a day. Please also make sure that you have found a comfortable boat, and that you have made a note of which boat it is.

Sea kayaking with trips for all standards. The only requirement is that we meet at 9am each morning to plan the trips for the day. I expect that people will start arriving at the campsite on Friday evening from c 5pm, but that is for each person to decide for themselves. There are good beaches at Swanpool and Maenporth within half a mile of the campsite.
Camping: I have booked us into the campsite and we will pay cash £12 pppn when we are there. Please bring cash for the campsite and for parking. National Trust cards are useful if you are a member as they have some car parks. If you want an elec hookup or a caravan space please book directly.

    i am putting a tentative as need to check childcare arrangements. If I do come then I would need a MV - not fussy about which one.

    Count me in :) MV Scorpio preferred. I can transport a boat for myself and either 1 additional person with their boat or 2 additional people without - 2 boats + 3 of us and kit was a bit much for my poor car last year.

    Due to car without windscreen - delay to my plans so now Arrive Sat PM to Monday. Would like to be included in the camping plan. 1 small tent! Have own boat.

    Hi All,
    Just an update that @RobPrice and I now have some alternative accommodation sorted so will not be camping (pls let me know if helpful to update campsite on numbers @JaneEvans and I will).
    We will paddle Saturday and Sunday (own boats). Will aim to pop down to say hi on Friday evening, then will come to campsite for 9am on Saturday morning. Not going to be there on Monday.

    I can take a boat for you. Would you be willing to swap to the scorpio LV, so Catherine can have the Virgo? The Virgo would be a better fit for Catherine.
